Hello Mums, hope you all are enjoying along with your happy and healthy kiddies. When we say ” happy and healthy kiddies”, how can we ignore cooking healthy food for them with all our love. Today I am going to share easy pancake recipe for kids, which you can easily make in your every day busy schedule as well.

Well, Not only recipe, I will share some magical creativity ideas to make pan cakes so appealing for your kids to eat kids can make and decorate their own pancake by fruits, honey, chocolate sauce or in whatever way they want. So, let’s start our recipe first.

Ingredients(with eggs)

  • 100 gm plain flour
  • 2  eggs
  • 280-300 ml milk
  • 1 tsp Cooking oil
  • Castor sugar 1-4 tsp

Eggless Pancake Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup Flour (all-purpose)
  • 1.5 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1.5 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons of water
  • 1-2 drops vanilla essence
  • 2.5 tablespoons of butter


Mix all ingredient together and whist really well. After that, keep this mixture aside for about 20-25 minutes.

Place a non-stick frying pan on medium heat. When hot wipe with oiled kitchen paper. After that pour solution of pancake and spread according to the size your want and fry until light golden. Then turn the side and do the same. Your yummiest and easiest pancakes are ready to serve.

You or your kiddies can have it with fruits, chocolate sauce or honey or also along with other toppings. My Daughter usually put her cereals on top of the pancake and then sometimes pour little bit honey with bananas or other fruits. Well, we should never stop our kids to try their own creativity and make their own food according to their own likes and dislikes, isn’t it…

I love pancakes but I’m a traditional lemon and sugar girl with mine. Maybe it’s a Brtish thing. These days for a bigger health boost I make mine with buckwheat flour as it is gluten free and high in protein; not only that but it makes lovely light, fluffy pancakes. It’s a revelation. Have you ever tried buckwheat pancakes?

  5. Oh wow, who doesn’t LOVE pancakes, they really are a treat, and it’s great when you can make them healthier by adding fruits, nuts, seeds etc. they make a great and filling breakfast for those that need lots of energy for their day ahead…like me.
    I often make buckwheat pancakes as I find buckwheat gives them a nice bubbly texture, plus it is gluten free. You should try these too and see what you think.
    I love how creative you are with your designs on the pancakes, honestly, what kiddie could resist. You are very clever 🙂
