Today i will be discussing about health benefits of Citrus Fruits, So, lovely mummies, lets have a look on how these fruits can help us in maintaining a good healthy life. These fruits are acidic exotic fruits which have been valued throughout the world because of their nutritional value and taste and a very healthy option for growing kids and pregnant mums.

  1. Hi Sarah, I love your article about citrus fruits and yes it is very important to get all these fantastic nutrients, especially during pregnancy. They will make you glow! Did you know that a kiwi fruit actually contains twice as much vitamin C as an orange? That blew my mind when I first found out so now I make sure I eat a kiwi every day also 🙂

Vitamin C rich food is not only a good powerhouse of anti-oxidants but also helpful in treating iron deficiency anaemia, as it helps in absorption of iron in blood and body cells.

  2. wow i never knew there were so many health benefits of eating citrus fruits!
    i remember when i was pregnant sour tasting foods was one of my cravings, i used to juice lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits and drink it every night, i loved it but it did NOT help with the heartburn!
    i guess my body must have known i needed more vitamin c!
