1/2 cup ground oats ( Ground these oats)
1.5 cup milk(formula milk)
Put both ingredients in a sauce pan and bring it to boil. When oats boils completely and milk become thick, then turn off the heat.
Now this porridge is bit lumpy for 6 month old baby to have. Whenever you want to feed you baby this porridge, for more taste take the porridge, add one strawberry, banana, mango, kiwi or apple along with some more milk and blend into a fine paste or you can feed without adding any fruit. We should not add extra sugar to any food for babies under 1 year.
Oats are high in fiber and helps baby in digesting good. Not only this, Oats are really a good source of Iron, Magnesium and Zinc. Iron is really important for healthy blood cells formation, whereas Magnesium plays an important rile in growth and developing strength in bone and it also boosts immunity. Zinc increases the immunity or our baby and also helps fighting gastrointestinal problems like diarrhea where as everyone of us know how crucial milk is for our babies as far as their growth, development and well being is concerned.
